Why You Must Be A Forward Thinker!

When it comes to business being a pioneer can make a huge difference in how successful your business is. Whether yours is a traditional brick and mortar business or an Internet business being forward-looking can step-up your profit potential in a major way.

In order to be a successful marketer, you must perpetually study, evaluate,
prepare plans of valuation, implement the plans and repeat the process
periodically in an effort to find the best cost-efficient and efficient manner to sell
your products and services. You must likewise incorporate all of the parts of the
“marketing mix” to accomplish the goals. These parts are research, design,
branding, packaging, pricing, production, financing, advertising, public relations,
promotions, selling, delivery, and customer service.

Marketing is a way companies use to sell a product, idea or service to their
consumers. Being forward-looking in marketing can help you set a fresh high bar
for your competition. Occasionally your competition will fail to reach these new
standards. Finding fresh ways to get the job done or fine-tuning existing ways,
can step-up a company’s revenue and make your marketing team more effective.

In today's global economic system where competition is coming from all over the
globe, marketing teams all over the world are scratching their heads to come up with
fresh or different innovative ways to reach their consumers and try to get a little
piece of the day-to-day shrinking pie.

While many of the world's world-class consumer brands has acknowledged the
signs of the times and is making the changeover away from one-to-many mass-
marketing to social marketing with meaning, marketing hypothesis is struggling
to catch up and grasp the new truths. To engage buyers in two-way, personalized
communications instead of marketing individual products to broad audiences is a
no-brainer.

While there are particular business rules that should be abided by, and particular
trends that are worth following, many of the “rules” are more general rules of
thumb than they are rules carved in stone. But there are a couple of rules that
must be followed.

Client satisfaction is all-important to success. This is utterly true regardless what type of business you have. Unsatisfied clients will spread the word about your business as quickly, if not faster than satisfied clients will. Before you know it your business will be hurting immensely.

Free sites and e-mail addresses are not professional. Not only do clients find free sites and e-mail addresses to be questionable, but so do other business pros. To be taken earnestly as a business person you need to have a paid domain with a corresponding e-mail address.

Cognition of your products or services is crucial to success. To be successful in business you must know the products or services you’re marketing. This isn't to say you must be an authority, though it wouldn’t hurt, but you must have hearty knowledge of what you’re marketing. This correlates to client satisfaction.

Hopefully, some of the following ideas may be helpful to you and your associates
right now as you plan your next community or while you're in the midst of
marketing a new campaign presently.

Branding Cures Several Marketing Headaches

Are you trying to attract business with a no-name, no-differences-from-competitors company identity? Branding your company, when done well, not only helps you stand out in a field of similar choices, it also helps you avoid price-shoppers and deliver results to customers that inspire loyalty. Here's why.

Headache #1: Competitors all seem the same

Put yourself in the mindset of a customer and go shopping for a company that provides what you sell. Do all the options seem pretty much the same? If so, create a memorable difference with branding. Stand for something that will set you apart.

Be faster, longer-lasting, more traditional, more fashionable, more child-friendly, organic, more international, etc. When you put this difference front and center in your company name and tag line, you become the best and possibly even the only choice for your target market.

Some companies make their mission statements available to customers as a way to communicate their operating values. Others embody their values and differentiation in advertising symbols, slogans, signage and store design. Still others rely on media coverage to get across their distinctive message. Some convey what they stand for in their customer newsletter. Standing for something specific (not something vague like "quality") helps your company say "So what?" to all the competition.

Another way to brand the company is to choose a personality for it and embody that personality in everything they do. Here are some options:
- sincere and friendly
- off-beat, fun to be with or exciting
- adventurous or artistic
- careful and finicky
- glamorous and sophisticated
- the strong, silent type
- brash and even slightly irritating
- motherly and considerate

From the company's personality can flow ad campaigns, kinds of special events to sponsor, company colors and typefaces...With a personality, you're more memorable than bland competitors.

Headache #2: Price-shoppers and tire-kickers waste your time

When you make pricing part of your branding, you cut down on the number of "tire-kickers" you need to deal with. This occurs whether your prices are high, low or medium. You also rope in many of the shoppers who might otherwise make incorrect assumptions. Some go away without asking your prices because they figure they couldn't afford you. Some guess that your prices are low and conclude that therefore you couldn't be very good at what you do. In the latter case, proclaiming your high prices increases business because clients willing to pay for the best now know you fall into the category of elite firms they want to patronize.

Above all, make sure your pricing fits with the other components of your image. If you charge in the low range, your stationery, logo and delivery trucks shouldn't look classy and expensive. If you charge in the high range, you should be giving out higher quality company gifts and promotional items.

Another good solution for companies bothered by price shoppers and customers seemingly without brand loyalty is to lean more heavily on benefits differentiating them from competitors. The classic definition of business benefits reminds us that people don't really buy 3/4-inch drills, they buy 3/4-inch holes. They don't buy an item or a service, but the result produced by the item or the service.

If you're a financial planner, you really deliver not financial advice but peace of mind and the ability to live well in the future or take care of one's family. If you're a rental car agency, you really deliver not a rental car but the ability to drive around freely when someone's own car is being repaired or is far away back home. Building these benefits into your company name and tag line is smart.

When implemented intelligently and visibly, branding sets you apart from competitors, helps free you of price shoppers and gives customers an experience that brings them back to you again and again.

Getting Over Your Fear of Creating an Online Marketing Video

You hear others talk about inbound marketing but at this point, you aren’t quite sure where you stand on it. Most will agree that video seems to be an excellent tool to help get new leads and then to connect with those new leads, eventually transforming them into happy customers. But most marketers would also agree that doing marketing video is completely different than any other marketing technique.

If you are afraid to explore marketing videos, you aren’t alone. Most of us find ourselves so scared to death after hearing others describe it as ‘tough’ or ‘too hard for beginners.’ I am here to tell you and convince you that those are nothing but mere fallacies and that you just like anyone who has created a video before you can do this. There’s a lot of negative talk around the marketing video, but think about this; if your competition can keep you away from doing, successful videos it’s better for them. The solution is to make it sound like videos are very
difficult to do and they are not!

Contrary to what you might have been told, you do not need expensive camera equipment and you do not need expensive editing software to create a video that works. Your video also does not have to consume all of your time nor does it have to be difficult to make. Those are all myths and fallacies that are floating around the internet.

So start right now – get out your webcam, make sure you have a decent mic, and start to create an online marketing video. You can make it short – that’s okay because your viewer’s attention spans are short. A video is super easy for your viewers to digest and ‘get.’ It allows you to create a personal message where your visitors can see who you actually are, get a feel for your personality, recognize that you are genuine, and begin to build trust. Video has the ability to connect with emotions and that means they are much more likely to share your message with the people they know.

It is time to lose your fears, forget what you have read and just go for it. What is it you have been thinking about creating a video on? Start with a topic, create a solid plan, decide what you want to say and how you want to say  t, and then go for it! After the first video, you’ll wonder why you didn’t take advantage of this powerful marketing tool earlier.

Finding Ways to Outsource

Are you considering outsourcing for your small business but have no idea where to start? Here is a list of what you can do to help you get started.

Evaluate Daily Activities

The first step in finding ways to outsource is to take a really close look at the daily activities you perform when tending to your business. Make a list of each of these activities and note any related activities that are typically performed in conjunction with each other. Making this note is important because activities which are typically performed together should either be outsourced together or remain as in-house activities together to maintain the highest level of efficiency.

Once you have compiled this list of activities, carefully consider which activities can easily be performed by another person and which activities require your personal attention. This will give you a good idea of which activities you could outsource and which activities would not be good opportunities for outsourcing.

Finally, review your list of activities and note how long it takes you to perform each of the activities you could outsource. This information will be helpful later if you decide to search for a candidate to complete these tasks.

Prioritize Daily Activities

After you have carefully examined your daily activities, it is time to prioritize these activities. Create a comprehensive list of all of your daily activities in their order of importance. For this list include both the activities requiring your personal attention and the activities which can be outsourced.

When you make your decision to start outsourcing some of your daily tasks, start with the highest priority on the list which you believe can be outsourced. Attempt to outsource this task as a test to determine whether or not outsourcing will work for you. If you decide you are comfortable with outsourcing and that it is working for your business, you can continue down the prioritized list attempting to find those capable of handling your daily activities.

Consider Administrative Tasks

We have already discussed the importance of evaluating your own daily tasks in the process of finding ways to outsource but it is also important to consider tasks completed by your staff members. Administrative tasks are often tasks which can be outsourced so examining these tasks will give you a good idea if you can increase the efficiency of your administrative assistance by outsourcing some of their responsibilities.

Activities such as data entry, transcription and other activities often handled by personal assistance are all example of activities which can easily be outsourced. Additionally, there is a great deal of qualified candidates available to fulfill these tasks. The industry of virtual personal assistants has become a booming industry with many savvy entrepreneurs offering their skills in these areas as a consultant.

Develop a Plan for Managing Outsourced Activities

Before starting to outsource daily activities, you should develop a plan for managing all of your outsourced activities. This plan should include the following:

* Method for selecting candidates to handle outsourced work
* Method for overseeing the work performed by independent contractors
* Method for evaluating the work performed by independent contractors

The 3 Things To Avoid When Emailing Your List

When you decide to have an opt-in list, it is not just a matter of sending your subscribers your promotional newsletters or catalogs. There are many things to consider in avoiding many complications. While there are so many ways you can make people subscribe to your list, there are also some things you must do to avoid subscribers from wanting to get off from your list.

Aside from that, you also want to avoid any problems with the law and your internet service provider or ISP. There are now many laws and rules that are applied to help protect the privacy of the internet users from spamming and unwanted mails. With the popularity of newsletters as a medium for marketing because of the low cost, many small business owners have seized the opportunity and have flooded many people's e-mail accounts with promotional mail.

But, with an opt-in list, you avoid this annoyance because people subscribe to the list; they want to receive the newsletters and promotional materials. They have consented to being on the list by subscribing themselves, just don't forget to put an unsubscribe feature everytime in your opt-in list so that you avoid any confusion.

It is essential that you keep your list clean and manageable. Arrange it by using the many tools and technologies available for your opt-in list. Do not worry; your investment in this marketing strategy is well worth it with all the coverage you will get which will likely be converted into sales then to profit.

Keep yourself and your business out of trouble and potential run-ins with the law and the internet service providers. Keep your operation legit and clean. Your reputation as a legitimate businessman or businesswoman and a legitimate site depends on your being a straight and true marketing strategist. As a tip, here are three things to avoid when emailing your list.

1) Take notice of your unsuccessful sends. These are the e-mails that bounce. Bounced emails, also known as undeliverable messages, are those messages that, for whatever reason, were not successfully received by the intended recipient.

There are bounces that happen or occur because the server was busy at that time but can still be delivered in another time. There are also bounces because the inbox of the recipient is full at that time. There are those bounce messages that are simply undeliverable ever. The reason for this is that it may be an invalid email address, a misspelled email address, or an email address that was abandoned and erased already.

Manage your list by putting markings on those that bounce. Erase an email account from your list so that you have an accurate statistics and records as to how many are actually receiving your mail. You may also want to check the spellings of your email addresses in your list. One common mistake is when an N instead of an M is placed in the .com area.

2) Always provide an unsubscribe feature in your site and an unsubscribe link in your mails. When someone in your list files a request to be unsubscribed, always take that request seriously. If you don't take them off your list and keep sending them your e-mails, you are now sending them spam mail.

When you are reported as a spammer, you and your business can get into a lot of trouble. You can be reported to the authorities and maybe blacklisted by many internet service providers. You will lose a lot of subscribers this way and many more in potential subscribers.

3) Do not provide shocking and disturbing content in your newsletters. It is hard to decipher the age of the recipient and many complaints may stem from these. Controversial issues also are to be avoided to not be branded by your subscribers. Stick to the nature of your site and business.

Always remember these tips so that you can have a healthy relationship with your subscribers as well as be kept within the boundaries of what is allowed in sending mails to an opt-in list.

Are You Derailing Your Business with Details?

Details can kill your web business. And I'm not talking about details killing your business from the standpoint of being careless about them. While it's true that being careless can hurt your business, everybody knows that (even if they don't always put it into practice).

The way I'm talking about that details can kill your business is if you focus too much on them.

Say what?

How on earth can focusing too much on details hurt your business?

Now, I'm not saying that we should ignore the details of our business as we gaze wistfully toward our vision of the knock-out business we dream of building. You never get anywhere without taking step after step after step to reach your goal. But you never get anywhere, either, if all you look at is the present step.

The point in the distance that you need to focus on is the need your audience has and the solution you have that will fill it. It requires you to understand your audience - who they are and what they need and what concerns stand in the way of them choosing your solution.

Free Mindset Checklist!

It's way too easy for us to focus on details, namely, on the latest traffic building tips or tools, the latest bells and whistles we can add to our site. Details are usually driven by facts, and facts are something we feel we can learn and control. Understanding the people who make up our pool of potential customers is a lot more scary. It requires us to step outside ourselves into the hearts and minds of other people.

Given the choice between dealing with predictable facts and details or dealing with unpredictable human nature, most of us will jump at dealing with facts any time.

But that just gets us stuck staring at our own feet as our feet inexplicably slip off the track. The only way to stay on track is by looking toward your ultimate goal: you helping people solve some problem in return for them repaying you fairly for the time and effort you put into it.

That's really the most simple definition of what business is. The details are not your business. The facts and the tips and the tools are not your business either. They're merely the steps you take to get to that point in the distance. And the more you take that to heart, the more easily you'll stay on the track toward your goal.

10 Reasons Why People Fail At Online Marketing

1. Failure to plan. No matter what type of business you are running you need a business plan with well-defined goals. What are your short-term and long-term goals? What steps do you need to take to meet those goals? Write out your plan and review it frequently. You are running a small business. Treat it as one.

2. Failure to work the plan  So you already have a business plan? Are you following it? A plan means nothing if you don't follow it. Work the plan every single day. Revise it if necessary but don't detract from it.

3. Making goals too big early on Many internet marketing failures try to do too much too fast. You are not going to create the ultimate website for dog lovers overnight. Start small with dog training tips and add content daily. Those 1,000+ page websites took months or years to build, so will yours.

4. Lack of knowledge Would you be a successful plumber without knowing anything about plumbing? No. Then to be a successful internet marketer for your business you need to learn internet marketing. Find a successful mentor willing to help you and you will be way ahead of the crowd.

5. Not investing in your business You won't get any support or very much web traffic on with a free web host. Many times, the best ebooks, scripts, and tools are the ones that cost money. You can run an online business for next to nothing but you'll achieve faster and more profitable results by investing in the right tools.

6. "If I build it, they will come" You can have the most comprehensive and informative website on natural healing in the world but if you don't promote your site and work to drive traffic to it no one will know about it.

7. Lack of patience Online marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It takes time and testing to build your web traffic and increase your conversion rate. In the beginning you might actually lose money and this is when too many people give up without giving their business time to grow.

8. Wrong niche So you wrote that ebook on underwater basket weaving and you're wondering why nobody is buying it? Find a niche but make sure it's profitable first. Too many times people create the product first then try to figure out how to sell it. Find out what the people want then give or sell it to them.

9. No Uniqueness There are a million low carb diet books out there, what makes yours so unique? Why should I buy yours when Bob's books are just as good and he's been selling them a lot longer than you? Stand out from the crowd and get noticed. Know your competition and do what they do better or do something totally different.

10. Lack of commitment To be successful, you must be committed to success. Behind every success story there are many hours of work and dedication.

Everyday review your online business and make sure you are not making any of these mistakes. Do this and you are well on your way.

Fallacies Regarding Online Based Businesses

In the course of my online business coaching activities, I have often found that people head into the startup of their online based businesses with a wildly unrealistic mindset.

Many have been told that they can sign up for a few programs, build a website around them, add a bunch of banners and links onto their site, then sit back and watch the money roll in and never have to work again.

There is a misconception that you can come online and set up an Internet based business and be making big money within a few days. This is absolute hogwash and it has not been my experience nor the experience of anyone I have come in contact with through my online business activities.

The harsh reality is that there are more people who fail at their online businesses than there are people who actually succeed.

Newcomers to the world of online based business are not usually aware that they may actually have to work harder at their businesses than they did at their traditional jobs. They are typically not aware of the many hours of marketing time that they will need to put in to be successful.

Many people that are new to online marketing also make the mistake of thinking that a single marketing strategy will suffice. Naturally, some avenues will produce better results than others, but I have found the best course of action is to adopt a broad based approach to your online marketing by spreading your time and resources over several different methods.

If you are new to Internet marketing, you might be well advised to take a course to find out what is required of you to be successful in an online business. It does not matter what type of business you are starting, if it is online, it must be marketed online, and possibly offline as well.

It always amazes me how frequently people that start an online based business actually believe that they can get rich by doing absolutely nothing, or at least with very little effort. These are otherwise intelligent people. Why would they believe this? My conclusion is that they believe because they want to believe. They believe because they see claims to this effect everyday and everywhere on the Internet. They are told that it is possible. They not only want to believe it, for their own reasons, but they need to believe it.

In my opinion, you need to give yourself at least a year to make an online business get some traction and start to generate some meaningful income. The proper mindset is to think long term, not instant gratification.

I am always surprised at the number of people who drop out of their online based business after the first month or two. I ask myself, what do they expect, miracles? You probably wouldn't bail out of offline business after a month so why would you expect an online business to be any different?

Aside from the fallacy of instant riches without any effort, the expectation of a free ride is a frequent misconception of many that think they want to start an online based business. If you're afraid, or unwilling, to invest a little money to start your own business...you are not looking at a business period...you are looking at a work at home job. If you want to make money online, you must also be willing to invest in yourself. It's as plain and simple as that.

The first step to successful online business is to have the right mindset. This checklist also works even if you are not online with your business.

Charting Out Your Online Business Plan

Charting and carrying your business plan is essential to ensure the success of your Online Business every time you start. A well-charted business plan assists you a well-organized approach towards achieving your goal.

Your business plan is very similar to a treasure map which without it, you would not be able to find your way to obtaining your rewards from running an Online Business.

Your Online Business plan should have the following charted out before executing them in action:

Business Mission
==============
This is the most important component of your business regardless of any kind. It must have a genuine mission to help other people in one way or another. If you engaged in a business solely for the money, you will need a lot of tough luck.

As customers or consumers ourselves, we do not like to be involved with people who are solely looking into our pockets without even a little responsibility in customer service. Agree? Certainly! On the same token, let us not engage business solely to make money. There are more wonderful reasons to be in business besides the attractive potential income one could make.

Very often, your business mission should always be summarized in a sentence easy to remember and follow by. The sentence should summarize the aim of your Online Business and the reason it was built.

Objectives
=========
When you have summarized your business mission, what follow are the objectives of your Online Business. What do you and maybe your partners or employees want to accomplish through this business? What are the products or services is your business going to offer to the people who are in need of them?

Marketing
=========
First, you need to identify your target market. Just who do you want to market your product or service to? Remember that if you do not have a market, you do not have a business. You must be able to identify your potential customers who will be interested in what you have to offer through your business.

FREE Niche Checklist

* indicates required

You must also identify your competitor. Who are the people who have already accomplished what you want to do? What are they offering? How are their products and services priced? How is their website designed?

The more competition you have, the more unique you will have to be. You can also beat your competition by increasing the quality of your customer service.

Now, each time we hear the word competitor, we subconsciously interpret that word as something negative. The truth is we do not necessarily have to destroy or outsmart another Online Business owner in order to win financially.

Have you heard of the saying I destroy my enemies by making friends? There is a lot of truth in this quote. In the 21st century, people succeed by having win-win agreements and you are encouraged to do the same. As an Online Business owner just starting out, you can reduce your competition by being friendly. Yes, be friendly!

I know it might sound awkward to you if you have been spending most of the time in your life fighting to secure prestigious posts in school clubs or impressing your boss to give you a raise or promotion and make your colleagues envy you. But imagine the number of competition you can reduce just by establishing Joint Ventures, interviews or even giving some kind words on the forum!

I have explained a great length about identifying your competitors. Now, let us discuss your plans on advertising. So how do you plan to advertise?

When you set up your Online Business website, you need people on the Internet to know that you are in business. The first step is to always submit your website to search engines.

There are many Internet Marketers who spend most of their time trying to top the search engine listing, but in my humble opinion, it is a battle not worth continuing. With many books published to tell everyone how to be number one on the search engines, you are obviously not the only one who wants to secure the top listings on search engines (that is even if you know how!).

Free Website Checklist!

The good news is that there are several more ways to market your product or service effectively even without the help of search engines. You can easily research for ways to market your product or service in detail from other friendly articles on Internet Marketing.

Product
=======
There are three aspects you will need to consider at the start of your Online Business:

Price take the time to select your product price carefully. If you price it too low, people will perceive that it is too low on quality. If you price it too high, people will perceive that it is too expensive.

Delivery if you are selling a physical product, how would you deliver the product to your customers? What shipping prices will you charge? If you are selling an electronic product, you will need to have security measures in place and automate the delivery process for instant download by your customers.

Plan each step carefully and explore your options in full. Then, carry your plans out religiously, improve where needed, and you will be well on your way achieving your Online Business goals!

5 Important Rules in Website Design

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are five important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter". In fact, they are just that -- pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the "back" button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valueable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

3) Have a simple and clear navigation

You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don't know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don't confuse your visitors because confusion means "abandon ship"!

5) Avoid using audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they're not annoyed by some audio looping on and on on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it -- volume or muting controls would work fine.

WordPress.com, however, is a relatively new option so I have no comparison on the speed of getting indexed by search engines. However, WordPress is better in the sense that it has more advanced features such as Trackbacks and Categories. You can also manage your sidebar links more efficiently (more about this later).

Get a free blog at either Blogger or WordPress. Then, familiarize yourself by publishing your first post on your blog and tinkering around with the options and templates.

Here are some words to start expanding your blogging vocabulary:

Permalink. Permalink stands for permanent link, which is a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) that leads to an individual post that you make in your blog.

Trackback. When you post about someone else's blog post elsewhere, your post will show up in their trackback section. This feature, however, is not available with a Blogger account.

Pinging. Blogging seems to be paired with pinging almost every time either one is mentioned nowadays. Pinging is actually the action where a certain aggregator is notified whenever your blog is updated, so that the aggregator may show the newest post of your blog on their website. This is a useful way to gain traffic, which I'll discuss in a future article.

Next, let's look at the type of content that's suitable for your blog in order to make it profitable. You need to understand that there is no fixed scope that your blog should have, which means you can write about whatever you're interested in. Mind you, the difference between a profitable blog and a non-profitable one is the way you write. What would you prefer: reading your university professor's lecture notes or the latest novel by your favorite author? People prefer to read "light" items most of the time. When they check out your blog, they are not only looking for information, but they are also looking for information that they can access easily.

So, to attract more visitors as well as to keep your current readers coming back for more, it's very important to add a personal touch to your blog posts. This can be done by simply imagining that you're talking with your personal friend. An extra bonus for your readers would be a great sense of humor, so try to add funny comments in your articles where relevant.

Another important point is to avoid addressing your reader as a plural unit. Don't write as if you're preparing a speech. Instead, write as if you're having a conversation with a single person, an equal friend, because this will make your reader relate to you more easily.

Besides that, it's also very useful to establish your own personality through your words. We're very curious creatures, so naturally your visitors would want to know as much about you as the information you're offering them.

Having a distinctive personality in your blog will make a world of difference between your blog about gadgets and all the other blogs about gadgets out there. This is a lot like creating your own brand name, where people immediately remember your blog's name when they need information about gadgets, just like how people immediately think of McDonald's for fast food or Nike for sportswear.

There will be more on the subject of content the next time.

When word gets around about your command of blogging, others who need to know about blogging will start to actively seek you out!

Good luck!

4 Rules For New Entrepreneurs - Practical Tips For Starting Right

It's a great time to be an entrepreneur in the last decade, technology has leveled the playing field and propelled an entrepreneurial revolution. As an entrepreneur, you now have more access to information that enables you to make more intelligent choices more quickly. You have an advantage over big businesses in that you're lighter, more flexible, and faster on your feet. You can target new markets more quickly, and you can turn on a dime.

But being a successful entrepreneur requires that you look at the big picture and follow a plan through from beginning to end. Rieva Lesonsky, editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur Magazine gives some practical guidelines that can help you when beginning your own enterprise:

1.Don't Quit Your Day Job.
Consider starting your business part-time, especially if it's online, while you're working and have a steady income. It usually takes six months to a year to get a business going and you don't want your ability to make your house payment to hinge upon your company being an overnight success. Start with what you can manage, financially and time-wise, and scale up as your business grows.

2.Find Your Niche.
The days of general stores are over. Particularly online, consumers are looking for stores that specialize. You have to find a need something a specific group of people want, but can't get at the big chain stores and fill it. Advises Lesonsky, You can't compete with the big guys, so you have to find where the big guys aren't and go into your niches.

3.Have an Online Presence.
Even if you're not planning to start an online retail business, consider that the internet can still play a valuable role in your company. Having an online presence eliminates the limitations of physical location and broadens your customer base by, literally, millions. It's also a great tool for promoting yourself and letting people, even in your own area, know that you're there, and what you're doing.

4.Refuse to Quit.
Successful entrepreneurship requires creativity, energy, and a drive to keep going when you fail. Few people realize that before Bill Gates created the extremely successful Microsoft 3.0, he created a Microsoft 1.0 and 2.0, both of which flopped but he kept at it. And that determination and refusal to give up is what will separate successful entrepreneurs from unsuccessful ones. Says Lesonsky, Arm yourself with optimism to get beyond the No or the trouble. There's nothing wrong in failure just don't repeat the same mistake!

10 Inspirational Quotes that Can Improve Yourself

It might take a little coffee or probably a few rounds of beer or any other booze you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day's work. Well, yeah I'm guilty about that one as well, unless I'm caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of Malbec! Okay, bad example and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.

Just don't ask how it happened, please.

But what's really interesting is that how do people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress? I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works. Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this 'mind-over-matter' thing.

Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what's been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it's better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision. One of my favorite celebrities of all time may have to be Woody Allen. Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without even trying. You can talk just about anything with a man, and he's bound to mock the subject and you'll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.

1. Breaking old habits and forming new ones always takes time, but it is worth it in the end - Joyce Meyer.

2. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too.  - Paulo Coelho

3. Your elevation may require your isolation.  - unknown

4. Life is about trusting our feelings and taking chances, losing and finding happiness, appreciating the memories and learning from the pasts. - unknown

5. If people are trying to bring you down, it only means that you are above them. - unknown

6. Motivation is what gets you started. Habits is what keeps you going - Jim Rohn

7. Excellence is not a destination; it is a continuous journey that never ends. - Brian Tracy

8. To live is the rarest thing in the world.  Most people exist that is all. - Oscar Wilde

9. Never neglect an opportunity for improvement. - Sir William Jones

10. The thing always happens that you really believe in, and the belief in a thing makes it happen. - Frank Lloyd Wright

Unleash the Super Powers Hidden Within

The human mind is an Infinite wonder.

It has the power to transmute your Inner desires into their physical counterparts once focused.  What the mind can conceive, You can achieve, just as long as you have the inner Belief and Will Power to back it.

For example, take the case of where cancer patients were given 'Placebo Pills'. These pills were just plain old pills that have absolutely NO healing capabilities what-so-ever. So what, how did they get well? The healing power came from their thoughts.

They were told that these pills contained the highest amounts of cancer-fighting ingredients which can effectively cure them in just a matter of months. So the point here is, they naturally assumed in their mind that if they took this pill it would make them better and  that their health will be restored.

Do you see how powerful your mind can be?

They simply registered it in their minds that these pills would cure them of their illnesses and in the process, the belief embedded within their subconscious mind became a reality.

This is just one example of the SUPER-Powers hidden within your mind.

So... now that I have your attention your probably asking yourself this question, "How can I use my mind to achieve my dreams?

Well, one of the most effective ways is to use the "as if" principle. And what I mean by that is, act "as if" YOU are the person you want to be. Act "as if" You are already possess whatever it is you have longed for.

Simply put, Think, Act and Feel like you've already accomplished what you have dreamed about all your life. This principle is a very Powerful principle if you simply believe. And you'll be much closer to your goal if you're constantly intact with your objective(s).

It's okay to be obsessed with your dreams.

It doesn't mean that if you want to be Superman you'll be able to fly out of a window and into outer space.

That would be Crazy!

I'm simply saying, "Do what needs to be done". Take ACTION on your dreams. Let your visions Encourage and Motivate you.

The problem with people in today's world is that they are too pre-occupied with Worries, Anxieties and Negative Emotions.  As a result of this, people are adversely affecting their state of health.

White lies unfortunately have become prevalent nowadays in order to ease the burdens or to persuade others to do things that they thought are unattainable.  A famous person once said, "Whenever you think you can or you can't, you're right!" If you think you are poor, then you are; unless you properly condition your thoughts to a 'Positive Mindset'.

I know it's hard to think "Rich" if your environment is not conducive to such way of thinking. Use your imagination and 'Visualize' in your head that your house is a mansion and your old car is a Porsche,...

Well, I think you get the picture.

There is absolutely NO limit to what the mind can achieve but You have to combine Belief, Will Power, and ACTION with positive thinking in order to achieve your inner desires.

One Niche You're Rich

Have you found yourself wondering why you are overwhelmed? There is so much material on the Internet regarding Internet marketing. If a person tries to digest all of it at one time, they will experience a bad case of online marketing indigestion. This is not a good feeling to have. I have had these feelings before as well.

The solution to this issue is to narrow your focus on one niche. You see it is much easier to become an expert in one area rather than two or more areas. I have made a decision to devote my time to making money on the Internet. There are countless ways to make money in this world today. You can make money in real estate, the stock market, by owning your own offline business and in numerous other ways. But the people who really do well in this world financially are known primarily for one thing. Bill Gates in known for Microsoft. Warren Buffett is known as a stock expert. I am sure that they have other things that they focus on now but they are known as being experts in a certain field. What do you focus on? Many things or one thing? I am willing to bet that if your answer is many you are in a state of Internet marketing disconbobulation. Find something you like doing and become an expert at it. The trick is to find something you like doing that is profitable financially. This is the secret to making money on the net.

If there is a market for your product, you can sell it. Do a search on google and see how many results your area of focus will bring up. If you use keywords, you will get better results. The more targeted the results the better. It is easy to develop a product when you are an expert in that area because you know something that your buyers don't. You are the expert and they are not. They will pay large sums of money to acquire your expertise.

As marketers we must understand that our time is extremely valuable and the more we focus on too many things, the more time that is wasted. This time could be better spent focusing on one niche. It takes time to learn what your niche market wants. After you learn what they want, give the people what they desire. If your child wants a piece of pizza and you give them fish that would cause sadness in their hearts. They may cry and be upset with you. In the same way, if you give your target market something different then what they are asking for they will remove themselves from your list or no longer associate with you.

So use your time wisely and learn what your target market wants. Once you have determined what they want, if you do not already have a product created to meet their needs create one. Remember what they have told you and use the desires of their hearts as your blueprint to create an excellent information product.

Your job as the expert is to provide the answers to the questions that your target market is asking. You answer their questions with your products and you will be seen as an expert by them. You can also become qualified as an expert by creating a blog about your niche market. You can have your readers post their questions on your blog. Answer their questions on your blog and they will also begin to view you in a different light. This will prove to them that you care about what they have to say. People buy more easily when they trust the person they are buying from. A blog is a great way to create an atmoshphere of trust. You can also build a great deal of rapport with your market in this way as well. You can get to know your market on your blog and they can get to know you. An excellent method to implement to accomplish this is simply to be open with your life. Talk about your family and life on the blog and you will find that your market is more likely to talk about their family.

You now have a number of concepts to implement in your Internet business right now. The key is to go out and do them. You will be greatly rewarded if you do. One niche can indeed make you rich.

Why Is SEO So Important To Your Website?

You have heard the phrase LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. But wait, this is online! You don't have to worry about location... or do you??!! Location is everything! Let's take a moment to really think about this. You need to find something. What do you do? Most people will go to their favorite search engine and input what they are searching for. They will type in a few words that describe what they are looking for. The Search Engines come back with the most relevant websites for your search. However, your search for a keyword can result in thousands of links (if not millions).

So now you begin the task of clicking one by one on these links to find the information or service you need. You may go through page one to find what you are searching for, you may go through all of page two, but did you get to the website on page 10? If you are shaking your head No (who has that kind of time?) then you have realized how important LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION is to your website. We need to get your site located on the first page.

The quick and easy answer to this problem is of course PPC (Pay Per Click Advertising such as Google Adwords). But this is not the smartest way to solve your problem and the cost can put most small business owners out of business. Now we know that as small business owners the largest expense is advertising. Imagine if you could cut your advertising in half! Imaging if you could eliminate your advertising cost all together and still achieve the same sales (if not more)!

Search Engine Optimization for your site is the answer.

Everyone wants to be listed in the number 1 spot. But most companies do not get listed under any of their keywords because they do not know how to implement search engine optimization (SEO). SEO is really not as hard as it sounds and most will find that once they understand how it works, it is actually quite simple.

A few things to keep in mind when starting your SEO Journey:

1. Make sure you use HTML Links. Some designers want to use beautiful image map links from their home page. Although this looks great, it does not help you with the search engines. Place links on your pages to the various pages to help not only the search engines find your pages but your visitors as well.

2. Frames...Well this is a hard one. Not only can some people not see frames, the search engines have a hard time with them as well. Also, what if your customer stumbles into one of the pages and does not see the frames? Just stay away from them all together.

3. DO NOT SPAM. Let me repeat this again. DO NOT SPAM. Spamming in any form is wrong. Most people consider spam as only used with emails. Wrong again unfortunately. Spamming will backfire on you. If search engines pick up on the fact that you are spamming, they have and will penalize your site.

Here are two examples of spam. a. Content Spam Data within a part of a Web resource designed for humans where that data is designed only for search engines to see b. Meta Spam Data within a Web resource that describes that resource or another Web resource inaccurately or (when the data should be readable by humans) incoherently.

Take your time when it comes to your websites SEO. Make small changes and watch your rankings. If you move up, great! Make more changes. If you move down, undo undo undo. Always keep records of the changes you make so you can easily track what worked and what did not work for your site. Remember, we are in this for the long haul. Do it right the first time and make it last.
